It was Peter's birthday today, so I was woken up at 7 in the morning to celebrate. The principal and his wife left soon after and we got ready to go to Motherwell. Working in the crèche is interesting but not exciting. You are constantly amazed at how much and how little sound 15 toddlers are able to produce. We sang some songs, drew for a bit and I read them a story from the toddler's bible. Religion is a recurring theme in thamsanqua and Motherwell, all children receive a christian upbringing, a lot of somgs in the créche mention Jesus or the Lord and all the good looking buildings in the township are government owned or churches. After it was over we drove back to PE and celebrated Peter's birthday again. Tomorrow we're going to a petting farm with the children from the crèche.
