Today was our last day in Motherwell. First we all went to the créche and when it finished we went to all four Thamsanqua houses one by one to say goodbye to the children. All the houses had made something for us, a card, quotes from the bible and even a tarp. Before we left Motherwell we visited the cemetery. It was a huge field with graves placed very closely to eachother, so close that we wondered whether the chests were put in vertically. Some headstones were a simple tin plate and some were extravagant and expensive with marble, pictures of the deceased and pillars. Nevertheless, all graves lay together, the rich next to the poor. When we drove back to PE I went with Tia to buy some toys for the créche with money from the school principal's generous donation. In the evening, we had our last meal and we received gifts and speeches from Louise, Tia, Larissa, Peter and Daphne. Tomorrow we're going on a plane from PE to Johannesburg at 1 AM where we have to wait 4 hours for our flight to Paris. We arrive there in the early morning and we'll arive in Germany around half past 8.
